Hi Everyone! My name is Shalla (pronounced Shay-la) and I am the photographer and owner for Eye Sugar Photography. My style of photography is lifestyle….which means photojournalistic with a touch of fashion flair….I am not a sit and say cheese kind of gal. I love capturing candid, real moments and I believe that a picture truly is worth a thousand words. I LOVE my job and I LOVE being a part of your lives! I love capturing every moment from Birth through Weddings and between. I have an amazing team that really helps me do all that I do. I am a very lucky gal in that every day I get to live out my dream. Who could ask for more!?!?If you haven’t worked with me yet, I think the things my clients would say is that I am full of energy, crazy ideas and ….the word fabulous is my favorite. I don’t really sleep and am a bit of a workaholic…so you may see some emails from me at 3am! I am getting better though…with the goal to have a real life and have days off with my family! I am obsessed with creating the best images that I can. I love texture, color and light….I love the science behind a great picture and I love figuring out new ways to light up a set or work with the sun to create amazing images. I am really proud of the fact that I have won a national award for my child photography and I am always looking to push the limit and create something new and exciting.
This past year I launched into weddings…and fell MADLY in love with capturing a couples big day. We had an amazing year and I am so thrilled to say that we have been chosen to be featured in 3 wedding magazines and have even been given a cover (coming out in June!). We are thrilled and can’t wait for weddings to start up again.
