Ms. C is a brave little girl who was diagnosed in November with an Ependymoma Brain tumor that was stage 3 malignant. What began as headaches became severe headaches with vomiting and severe fatigue. Upon arriving at the hospital they were told the news and she was quickly brought into surgery at Maine Med. During surgery they discovered that the tumor was wrapped around her brain stem the size of a fist…but they got it all! Amazing. Ms. C has been doing radiation in Boston Monday through Friday and made it through it like a trooper! She just completed and had her first MRI and it came back clear.
