I recently went to the big apple with our spanish exchange student and my oldest daughter along with our host group for the exchange students.  It was a quick but full two day trip and we had so much fun.  Our first day was really foggy and it sprinkled all day…so the photos are not that fantastic but I thought I would share anyway!  A little contest…name each of the places in the photos and you win a free mini session.

The fine print:  Mini session is a 20-30 minute session that must be held by November 15th.  Does not include prints.  Value of $75.  Contest ends Monday the 17th at 9am.

August 22, 2009 - 7:51 am melanie bergin - okay I will try my best here - I'm a native New Yorker, so I feel the need to give it a shot even though I know that some I will get totally wrong! But this is in good fun regardless so here goes! (1) FAO Schwartz (2) part of central park (near the hotels and not far from FAO Schwartz) (3) Grand Central Station (4) Times Sq (5) Brooklyn Bridge (awesome shot by the way!) (6) deep inside the MET (metropolitan museum) (7) Statue of Liberty (8) ??? Maybe a chandelier in Penn Station? (very cool shot) (9) Columbus Sq/Circle (10) view of wall street area/financial district (11) Central Park (alice in wonderland statue) How'd I do? Is it awful? I hope I got atleast a few right!
